    Governor Ralph Northam issues statewide Stay at Home order (Executive Order 55)

    Governor Ralph Northam issued a statewide Stay at Home order (Executive Order 55) to protect the health and safety of Virginians and mitigate the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. The executive order takes effect immediately (Monday, March 30, 2020) and will remain in place until June 10, 2020, unless amended or rescinded by a further executive order.     Delta Red Carpet Wrap Up

    Dinner and a Movie On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, Denbigh Alumnae Chapter members, family and friends wrapped up an active year of Arts & Letters events with a special, one-time, viewing of movie: “A Chance in the World.” “A Chance in the World” is the true story of one man’s journey through the foster care system, and his successful determination to rise above it’s challenges.     May Week 2018 celebrated young scholars and public servants!

    Denbigh Alumnae Chapter kicked off its 2018 May Week with the 19th High Tea Scholarship Presentation. The High Tea was held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center, and displayed the events theme throughout the afternoon: “Continuing the Legacy of Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Service.” The event featured an artist showcase of students from Woodside High School’s art program, entertainment from Elements Band, hat parade and competition, and themed baskets for silent and raffle auctions. WE PRESENTED OUR 2018 GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS… Our 2018 general scholarship recipients exemplify academic excellence, and community service and leadership.
